The AFM released the results of its survey conducted among more than 500 crypto owners into cryptos and initial coin offerings (ICOs).
The AFM said that interest of Dutch consumers in cryptos has fallen sharply since January 2018. There are considerably more exits than boarders and the 480,000 Dutch people who hold cryptos barely buy more and check their portfolio less often. The most recognized risk factors are collapsing value, price manipulation and lack of supervision. A similar picture emerges among participants in ICOs.
