The ruling People’s United Party (PUP) won the election with 26 out of 31 seats in the House of Representatives.
Incumbent Prime Minister John Briceño was re-elected for a second term.
Belize has a bicameral parliament (National Assembly) with the upper house Senate, which has 13 members, and lower House of Representatives with 31 members who serve five-year terms.
Belize has a population of around 421,333 and 197,020 registered voters. Voter turnout in the 2025 election was 64.9%.
