Ecuador held a general election on 9 February 2025 but due to a statistical tie, a runoff was held on 13 April.

Incumbent President Daniel Noboa of the ruling National Democratic Action (ADN) alliance was announced the winner by the National Electoral Council (CNE) after securing 56% of the vote. He will serve a four-year term.
