Liechtenstein held a general election on 9 February 2025.

The Patriotic Union (Vaterländische Union, VU) won the most seats with 10, while the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP) came second with seven seats and the Democrats for Liechtenstein (DpL) third with six.

The incumbent Prime Minister Daniel Risch of VU did not run for re-election. His party's candidate was Brigitte Haas, who will now become the next Prime Minister.

The 25 members of the Landtag (Parliament) are elected in two election districts, 15 in the Upper Country election district, 10 in the Lower Country election district. Members are elected by proportional representation and serve four-year terms.

Liechtenstein has a population of approximately 40,053 and around 21,183 registered voters. In the 2025 election, voter turnout was 76.3%.
