Liechtenstein will be holding a general election on 9 February 2025.
The current coalition government comprising the Patriotic Union (Vaterländische Union, VU) and the Progressive Citizens' Party (Fortschrittliche Bürgerpartei, FBP) is led by Prime Minister Daniel Risch of VU.
The 25 members of the Landtag (Parliament) are elected in two election districts, 15 in the Upper Country election district, 10 in the Lower Country election district. Members are elected by proportional representation and serve four-year terms.
Liechtenstein has a population of 40,015 and around 20,385 registered voters. In the 2021 election, voter turnout was 78%.
